How to interpret this page: Below is Nostradamus' 2006 Super Bowl Prophecy, made over 400 years ago. The latest point spread is provided with the favored team having the point differential in parenthesis directly to the right.
Based on The Author's extensive analysis of Nostradamus' cryptic prophecies, he has provided his interpretation.

The Prophecy of Nostradamus:
Sixth favored son must be the Steelers. They were seeded sixth. Nostradamus, not knowing how the conferences are seeded, probably thought the Steelers ascended the false (i.e. AFC, not NFL) throne through subterfuge and murder (though the Steelers did murder Carson palmer's knee, and Nick Harper was nearly murdered by his wife, but succeeded in murdering the Colts when his injured knee prevented him from eluding Ben Roethliegsberger).
Decay is possible an allusion to the city of Detroit (I've been there and know what he's getting at) Either that or Nostradamus was making a prediction about the U.S. auto industry.
This is not the Philadelphia Eagles. A seahawk is also known as an erne, or sea eagle. They obviously have something to celebrate about. What could that be?
Thlast line is very cryptic. I had no idea, until I listened to that stupid Mike&Mike Show on ESPN Radio. All the stooges there are picking Pittsburgh. Sean Salisbury provided this incredible insight, "The team that scores the most points will win the Super Bowl." Nostradamus exposes these fradulent seers (= heretics) and predicts their execution by hanging on Aspen trees. Hmmmm, Aspen, Aspen, Espen, ESPN, De De De...De De Dent.
Nostradamus offers a second prediction
Nostradamus...doing an over and under. Does he do a prophecy for those east of the Mississippi and the opposite for those west of the Mississippi? It looks like this will be a low scoring game. Nostradamus uses Vignt (French for 20) and Sept (French for 7). That adds up to 27. Does that mean (based on the first prophecy) that Nostradamus thinks Seattle will win 20-7. Knowing him, I don't think he would giftwrap it that easy. The horned gamblers is a reference to the oddsmakers in Vegas. They smile because most bettors take the favorite (Pittsburgh) and Over (now at 41, I believe).
NOSTRADAMUS' PICK: Seattle beats Pittsburgh, 17-10
